New approach tonight—actually not new, more of a start over. The line on the bottom edge of the tape onto the rudder cap is completely smooth. I still have a line from the top edge of the tape onto the aluminum skin. So, I took off the primer and Super FIl from the top tape edge to the center of the joint. Sanded it smooth and applied about an inch wide strip of Super Fil. I’ll sand it down tomorrow and hopefully the line will be gone. This rudder cap is beginning to try my patience. On a better note-I did get the tail light mounting ring area completed to my liking.
