Brief Description:  Bottom rudder cap-16

I lightly sanded the glass joint, then mixed up some micro/resin and spread it across the tape—used a credit card to smooth everything out. As hot as it was today, didn’t take long for the micro to harden. Then I sanded it down, cleaned the area with acetone and mixed another batch. Spread it out like before and several hours later I was back sanding the joint. I also sanded the entire cap to cut some of the gel off. Shot a coat of high build sanding primer on the cap. After it dried, I sanded it so see any high or low spots. Don’t know what I did different on the cap, but it is shaping up very nicely after only a couple of micro sessions. Since the cap is in fairly decent shape, I switched from micro to Super Fil. I applied some Super Fil to a couple spots and to feather out the edges of the glass tape.
