Brief Description: VS & Rudder Tips-14, HS & Elavator Tips-6
Tonight I sanded on the HS tip—the clearance between the HS tip and the elevator tip needs to be 1/8” and I’m slightly less than that—more sanding needed here. After sanding the elevator, I mixed up some dry micro and applied to the joint and a couple of low spots. I cut some .003” glass and also a strip of peel ply to go over the joint after the micro dries and gets another sanding. I opened the Wonder Fil and measured out a 2:1 mix of filler and hardner. Then I applied to the VS and rudder tip in a couple of areas.
