I finished the fiberglass---April’s Fool. Just wishing. Sanded down the rudder tip and the VS tip both, then mixed up another batch of resin and micro. I mixed up this batch a bit thinner than I had been mixing thinking I could spread this coat very thin. Used a credit card to smooth the mixture—hope I getting close to finishing filling in the low spots. The HS tip needed some more mixture at the back end, so I taped a wooden block to the tip and poured in some filler. Began sanding on the edges of the elevator tip to get it to fit better in the end of the elevator. While working on this tip, it suddenly dawned on me that I had forgotten to put some wax paper between the end of the HS tip and the dam I created with a block of wood. Fitting the tip with a block of wood glued on might be hard to fit on the HS—we shall see.
