L. Elevator-shot a bit of primer on the lead weight, then drilled a.060 hole in the 606 spar to be used later to safety wire the hinge pin of the elevator tab. Riveted 606 spar to the 705 root rib. Plans show to countersink (some builders dimple it)—think it is because there are no AD470AD3 rivets in the kit. I happened to have some 3-5’s which I cut down and used to join the parts. Next I used a 10cc syringe which I filled with blue RTV, and “injected” the RTV where the stiffeners meet the trailing edge. Inserted the skeleton into the skin and clecoed . Ready for rivets tomorrow!
