Trim Tab—used a file to trim the outboard ends of the trim tab for clearance with the elevator. This was a rather slow process, but turned out ok. Ends of the elevator and trim tab are parallel and uniform. My poor practice kit had to give up a rib for the greater good. Made a riblet for the end of the elevator where I had chopped of the tabs. Used the skin of the practice kit to make a template for locating where to drill holes in the skin. Using the template as a guide, I drilled thru the skin to match up with the existing holes in the underlying rib. Clecoed the riblet inside the skin—the fit was spot on!
