Brief Description: R. Elevator-Drilled lead, drove c/w skin rivets
R. Elevator-drilled ¼” hole in counterweight, then used a hacksaw to remove some of the lead per the plans. I used an old file to smooth the face and the edges of the lead. Drove 4 rivets to join the counterweight skin to the elevator skin. Need do this before adding the skeleton, else there will not be access to this area later-then you would have to use pop rivets. Picked up some RTV silicone and a 10cc syringe. Hopefully this will not make quite the mess I experienced when adding RTV to the rudder.
