Brief Description:  R Elevator-Deburring Skeleton

Right elevator-deburred spar, root rib, tip rib, counterbalance skin and counterbalance rib. Used debur bit in portable screwdriver to countersink the 4 holes at the end of the spar. Turned the screwdriver at very slow speed until each c/s hole was close to proper depth, then removed bit and twisted by hand until rivets would sit flush. Dimpled the counterweight skin for the screws that hold the lead weights. Used a piece of oak wood, which I countersunk, as the female die, and the screw as the male die. Several taps with the rivet gun made a decent dimple.
