Not a real productive session tonight. Used the pneumatic squeezer to set the 3 rivets joining the 606 reinforcement plate to the 802 spar. The -5 rivets per the callout are a bit long, but a -4 is too short. So, bent one left, drilled it out, bent it right, drilled it out, said some choice words and walked away. Came back, grabbed the rivet gun and drove the rivet. Moved to the other side and tried the squeezer again. Mistake! Bent it over, drilled it out and set it with the rivet gun. Next, I riveted the 405 horn, 717 shim and the 802 spar—with the rivet gun. Set a total of 6 rivets, drilling out 3. Not a great success rate! Tomorrow night I intend to set the rivets that join the rib/horn/spar.
