Brief Description:  VS-Redo flush rivets

Back to the VS rear spar. Got a new dimple/die set from Avery. Made some dimples in scrap piece and compared to dimples made with my other set. Appears that the dimple dies I used originally do not create as smooth a dimple on back side. Dimples made by the Avery set sit much better in the c/s holes. Re-dimpled the holes in the rear spar—now the doubler lays flat in the spar. Cleaned up the spar and doubler and re-primed around the flush rivet holes where there were some scratches from rivet removal. Riveted doubler to spar. Used backrivet set for flush rivets, then used squeezer for the rest of the rivets, except the hinge attachments. Used gun and bucked 412 and 413 brackets. Learned that the pneumatic squeezer does not work on rivets -6 and up. Had to drill out and replace 3 rivets.
