Brief Description:  Fuel sender wires, adjust flaps

I added terminals to the wires going to the fuel tank senders, then added some shrink tubing. I connected the wires to the senders. Next, I climbed into the fuse, and crawled back toward the tail. I installed an “anti-rotation” bracket to the Dynon pitch servo. This will prevent the servo arm from going “over center”, thus causing a really bad situation. However, with the elevator stops, I don’t see how this would ever be possible—but I installed it anyway. Then, I worked on connecting up the flap pushrods. I had to adjust the right flap rod just a bit to get it fully in the up position—then checked all jam nuts. I also verified alignment of the flaps and ailerons. I’ll probably remove the lower mounting bolts until just before engine start because it is easier to get in and out of the fuse with the flaps hanging all the way down. I also started the paper work chase—ordered a registration kit from EAA and also requested a bill of sale from Van’s Aircraft. This project may actually get completed and ready to fly before summer. While in the fuse inspecting stuff, I discovered that I had not installed cotter pins on the bolts that connect the rudder cables to the eyebolts at the firewall. I’m pretty sure this won’t be much fun to get it corrected at this point, but better I caught it than the DAR finding it.
