Brief Description:  Safety wire tank brackets,AOA & Pitot lines

First off, I got a pic of the rear spar bolts that I installed yesterday. Then, I moved to the front of the wing and tightened up the bolts that attach the fuel tank to the fuse. The bracket is slotted so that in case of a mishap, the tank will pull away from the wing and prevent the end of the tank from being ruptured. The bolt screws into a nutplate, however it is only tightened just enough so that the big washer doesn’t turn. Then, I safety wired the bolt—used a small piece of nylon tubing on the top to prevent any sawing of the top of the bracket. Next, I needed to get the AOA and pitot lines run thru the side of the fuse. Before the wing was all the way slid in would have been an excellent time to accomplish this, but somehow it got overlooked. Anyhow, I eventually got the two lines pushed thru the rubber grommets. A drop of BoeLube on the end of the tube was what finally allowed the lines to get pushed thru. Next, I got both ailerons hung—tomorrow I’ll get the washers and spacers installed.
