I planned out the routing of the fuel pump overflow tube down to the left lower cowl attachment flange. I bent a piece of .032 to form a small bracket which will be riveted to the cowl attachment plate. I drilled a #12 hole in the firewall/fuselage flange and then match drilled thru the mounting plate. I bent the 3/16” tube to exit the flange and to fit against the back side of the bracket. I machine c/s the mounting plate to flush rivet the bracket. Cleaned and primed the bracket. I riveted the mounting plate to the firewall/fuse flange, then riveted the bracket to the plate. I connected the plastic line to the fuel pump and to the tube at the lower end. I safety wired each end using a double wrap. Secured the lower tube to the bracket with a couple of zip ties. Done!
