I used some #60 grit paper to scuff up the flange mating area of the modified W-412 tip rib, then mixed up a batch of resin with flox. I spread this mixture on the inside of the fiberglass tip and then clecoed in the tip ribs. I squeezed in 11 rivets on the right tip, followed by another 11 for the left tip. All done with the riveting on wing tips. In checking, I find there were 300+ rivets set in order to attach the tips using the hinge method. Tomorrow I’ll finish up with the glass strips to secure the NAV antenna.
