Brief Description:  Drill lower fuse skin to wing skin

I wanted to get the bottom fuse skin drilled to the lower wing skins and get the tank attach brackets done today. I had previously drawn lines out from the center of the holes in the lower wing skin. I started on the left wing—I used a #40 hole finder to locate the hidden holes in the wing skin and got them all drilled. NOTE: if you are planning to use a hole finder, be aware that the holes in the wing skins must be opened up to #40 before installing wings! After I had the holes drilled and clecoed, I drilled them up to a #30 per the manual. Did the same thing on the right side. Next, I moved to the tank attach bracket (F-863-1). They require some fitment (read beating it with a large hammer) to make it fit the side of the fuse. Well, maybe I need a bigger hammer—still not happy with the fit. I’ll tackle this some more tomorrow.
