Brief Description:  Lower cowl ramp seals-1

I began work on the lower cowl ramp seals—these seals will be attached to the lower cowl and will fit up over the ramps on each side. I understand they make installing the lower cowl a bit of pain. Starting on the right side, I bent a strip of .063 to match the curve of the lower cowl inlet. I drilled #40 holes in the strip, then clamped it into position and used my angle drill to match drill into the fiberglass cowl. I cut a piece of seal material for the right side, but before I punch holes for the screws, I want to install the cowl and make a better trim on the seal. Then, I started on the right side—got the clamping strip partially bent—will finish up tomorrow and re-install the lower cowl.
