Brief Description:  Resolve xponder, began dis-assembly

Got the transponder issue resolved. Actually, there was nothing wrong with it. The Dynon 261 transponder gets a signal from either the new Dynon 2020 compliant GPS antenna or thru the Garmin GTN650. Well, you got to get the bird out of the hangar where it can see the sky. As soon as the Garmin locked on to satellites, the Dynon transponder went from fail to no fault. After getting this resolved, I pushed the plane back into the hangar and removed the upper cowl, spinner and the interior seats. I found one spot on the upper cowl where the beefed up oil cooler mount was rubbing against the cowl. I used my dremel and cut down the mount about ¼”. I’ll check again after the first flight to see if I need to trim the mount further.
