Brief Description:  Intersection fairings-6, tail wheel springs

Today was another day like the previous one—sand the intersection fairings and apply another bit of micro. After I finished with the micro, I started on the steering chains for the tail wheel. I connected each spring to a piece of the sash (?) chain, and connected a steel clip to the other end of the spring. Next, I attached the clip to the steering arm on the tail wheel. I added a steel clip to the eye bolts on the rudder horn, then stretched the chain from the arm to the horn. Per the plans, I left about ½” sag in the chain and cut off the excess. This will be a starting point—I can either add another link in the chain or remove one depending on how the airplane handles. The eyebolts on the rudder horn should prevent the aluminum horn from wearing out the attachment holes. I also placed an order with Flightline Interiors for a set of Crow harnesses.
