I worked on intersection fairings again today. I used some heat in a couple of areas and got what I think is “as good as it gets” fit. I may fill a couple area with micro for final fit and finish, but mostly fit for now. I covered the gear legs with packing tape, then wet out some glass strips. I applied 5 strips in overlapping layers to each fairing where I had split the front to fit over the gear legs. Then, I added some peel ply over the glass. Tomorrow, I’ll sand and apply some micro.
