Brief Description: Sloshed l. tank, install Andair fuel valve handle
I drained the remaining fuel from the right tank, then poured exactly 1 gallon into the left tank. I sloshed the fuel around same as I did for the right tank. Then, I began draining the fuel from the sump drain thru a coffee filter into a jar. Very interesting—I drained out exactly 1 gallon of fuel. The plane was sitting in a 3 point stance. I probably should raise the tail and level the fuse to see if all the fuel still drains out. Next, I installed the Andair fuel valve handle in preparation of checking fuel lines, pump output etc. I also polished the Grove gear and pulled the wiring for the auto pilot roll servo located in the right wing thru the grommet in the side of the fuse.
