Brief Description:  Elevator install, connect fuel lines

I connected the fuel lines from tank to fuselage—finger tight. Need to finish tomorrow using flats method. To get the fuel line on the left side lined up with the tank fitting, I had to remove the screws securing the fuel valve and loosen the line going out the side of the fuse. Tightened fittings finger tight, but need a wrench to hold the tank fitting while tightening the nut on the line from the fuse. I suppose I will eventually get tools I need at the hangar moved—some at home and some at hangar is a problem. Next, I installed the bolt that secures the elevator horns to the HS pivot bearing. Sounds simple, but getting the 4 washers in each side is a challenge. Then, I installed bolts in the two pivot points where the elevator attaches to the HS. Again, looks simple, but not much room to work—should have brought my Granddaughter and her tiny slender fingers for this task! Then, I hooked up the F841 pushrod to the elevator horns. Tightened all bolts and marked with torque seal. Now, it’s ready for the VS to be installed. One other seemingly simple task was to slip the fresh air duct over the flange so the GIB can have some cool air. Again, very limited room to work, but got it installed and secured with a clamp.
