I mixed up some resin with micro earlier today. I applied to the mixture to the right side of the lower cowl as well as a couple of trouble spots on the left. Later this afternoon, the resin was dry so I began sanding once again. I used #180 grit paper hoping not to take off too much of the new glass. After sanding, I used compressed air to clean the dust from the sanded area. Crud-there are some places where the grain is still showing. I think I will apply some more micro to these areas tomorrow. This dang cowling is taking forever!
