Brief Description: Add stiffener to #3, start tension rods
I marked a line ½” down from the top of the baffles for my rivet line. While marking this line on the #3 rear baffle, it seems this has more wiggle to it than any of the others—it is also the longest piece of baffle. I decided to add a piece of ½” angle to the back side of the baffle and tie it in to the side also—seems much more sturdy now. Then, I started on the tension rods, but didn’t get too far. I need to pick up a 6-32 die to thread the ends of the rods. I did get a piece of coat hanger wire bent to the shape needed to clear the obstructions for the right inner rod. Fit, remove, bend repeat. This appears to be one more slow process in the quest to finish these baffles.
