Brief Description:  Replace rivet on #1 baffle, start air filter insta

After finishing the #1 baffle assembly, I got to thinking about how the air seal material fits into the ramp and it became obvious that I should have used an AN426 rivet in brace between the front baffle and the lower air ramp. So, I drilled out the rivet and dimpled the hole. The squeezer does a good job of dimpling 2 pieces of material at the same time. Then, I squeezed in a flush rivet. Now the seal material should lay flat across the face of the lower ramp. Next, I set the tension on the alternator and tightened down the mounting bolts. I attempted to safety wire the bolt on the tension adjustment arm, but don’t like the way it turned out—so, I’ll remove and try it again. Then, I installed the snorkel for the air intake and began trying to figure out how to use the parts for mounting the filter. To say the plans are a bit sketchy is a gross understatement. I’ll have to research this before going much further.
