I had written out a sequence for riveting the oil cooler baffles and all related parts. Must have missed a step, and ended up with 4 rivets that had to be drilled out when it came time to add the FF-709 doubler. When adding the inboard nutplates, I had issues with rivets leaning over and some setting proud. Drilled out and set again—still had some “leaners”. Upon closer inspection, I found that the edge of my squeezer yoke was contacting the angle and pushing the rivet over during the squeeze. I ground the corner off of the yoke and then was able to set the rivets without issue. I still have several more rivets to set before finished with #4 baffles, but they should not be a problem.
