Brief Description: Torque exhaust nuts, run lower plug wires
I added more zip ties to the f/w forward wiring—got everything cleaned up. Next, I torqued the exhaust nuts to 185 in/lbs per Vetterman’s instructions. I applied some anti-seize goop to the studs before adding washers & nuts. I still need to connect the CHT & EGT wires, but decided I needed to run the plug wires first. I followed the instructions from Lycoming as to how to run and secure the plug wires. Only got the lower plugs done today—the lowers ones may determine where the CHT & EGT wires will be run. I hope I was not to premature and have to remove the wires to install the baffles! I also test fit where I will mount the red cube. I will need to order a custom hose to make the final connection.
