Brief Description:  Temp sensor, begin ANL & shunt doubler

The oil temperature sensor that goes in the back of the engine near the oil filter needs to be safety wired. I drilled a 1/16” hole thru 2 sides of the sender and installed it in the engine with the provided crush washer. Not real sure where I’ll run the safety wire to, but somewhere before everything else is finished. I finally decided on a location for the 60 amp ANL and shunt. Since I don’t have a battery mounted on the firewall on the right side, I plan to add the ANL and shunt there. I would prefer to add near the starter contactor, but that area is getting very congested—and I still need to mount a “red cube” somewhere on the left side. I made up a double out of .040 sheet, laid out holes and drilled. I’ll use #10 screws for the ANL holder, and the shunt takes a -4 bolt. Next session, I’ll lay out rivet holes and install.
