Brief Description: Riveted left F-804N-1 Bulkhead cap
I found a local A&P who safety wired the 6 screws that hold the back plate of the governor—thanks Mark. Then I installed the throttle quadrant once again. I attached all of the cables to the various engine controls to make sure I could get full throw on all controls. Then, I removed the throttle quadrant and clecoed on the left bulkhead cap (F-804N-1). The plans called for LP4-3 pop rivets. Somewhere way back for some reason I had dimpled both the cap and bulkhead to which it attaches—not sure why, but I did. So, I switched to CS4-4 pop rivets and attached the cap—got a good workout with the pop rivet puller. Now, I can do a final install of the throttle quadrant.
