Here is something I found on Jason Beaver’s web site—nice touch Jason. The connector for the Dynon screen comes with a USB cable which has a type A female on the other end, which is useless for mounting. I ordered a cable with a panel mount for the female end. I made a template from some scrap .032 to make sure the mounting holes and center cut out would work, then I match drilled to the instrument panel. I made the cut out in the center by drilling some holes, then finished up with a small file. Next up is to take apart the connector, remove existing pins and replace with the new cable.
