More empennage fairing work tonight. Tried putting a light in the cavity behind the HS front spar, but couldn’t see the holes clearly enough to drill. So, back to original plan—remove fairing, tape penlight inside against hole, install fairing and drill. Remove fairing, repeat process. Finally came up with another penlight, so was able to drill 2 holes at one fitting. Got all but 3 holes drilled tonight. There is a slight puckering in several areas—nothing big, but something that I want to smooth out if possible.
