Brief Description:  Glued 1st rib

Glued and clamped the first rib tonite. I had all the gussets, clamps and blocks ready and set up. Mixed my first batch of T-88 in a plastic cup and mixed thoruoghly. Used an acid brush cut down to 1/2" so the bristles were stiff enough to spread the glue. Worked great. I ended up mixing too much and had quite a bit left over. I'll mx less next time. Wore gloves to protect myself from the epoxy which was defintely needed. I got it all over my finger tips on my left hand. I was holding the gussets with that one. In the process i ended up getting a little glue on the tops of some of the gussets. I wiped them with a paper towel before clamping them with the clamping blocks. When spreading the glue on the gussets i spread it over the entire underside of the gusset. That way i would not have to worry about getting sealer in those hard to reach places. In the rush of gluing up my first rib i forgot to take pictures. The pictures listed are after i removed the rib from the jig. I also routered the excess hang over of the gussets. I will make sure to take pictures on the procedure on my next rib.
