Decided to mount my router underneath my work bench. I will have to bit stick up through the bench about 12" from the end in the center. I will be able to raise the bit up through the bench to router the gussets on the ribs. Then when done i can lower the bit down below the top of the bench, out of the way. Hope it works.
So i bought some screws at Ace on the way home from work. I took the pad off the router and used it to locate mounting holes on the bench. I then drilled four holes the same diameter as the screws i bought. I started to install the router under neath and found the holes did not line up perfectly. I guess i should have marked the under side of the bench and drilled from there. Dooh....... I tried drilling the holes alittle larger but then hit the router metal and took out the threads. I removed to router and retapped them with 1/4-20 threads. I did not have any 1/4-20 screws so i'll have to wait till tomorrow to get some.
