Brief Description:  Brake Fluid Added

I decided it was time to fill the brakes with fluid, test for leaks and make sure they work. Might as well do that before taking plane to a hangar.

I researched on the forum ways to add fluid. There are 3 ways:
1. Fill the reservoir on top and eighter push it down or suck it down to the wheels.
2. Fill the reservoir and pump the brakes until everything works.
3. Push fluid up from the bottom.

Number #3 is the way to do it. So I bought a little pressure oiler. Only costs 5 bucks. Adobted a little vinyl tube to fit over the nozzel and brake caliber nipple. I started pumping and fluid went right in and up to the resevoir. No mess. No bubbles. Works great. Brakes are solid.

I had a leak that I found a couple days later and it took only 15 minutes to drain, fix and refill. Filling from the bottom with a pressure oiler is definitely the way to do this. Cheap and effective.

I bought the brake fluid from Aircraft Spruce.
