In an attempt to help get my head into wiring I bought some cool rocker switches. These have internal lights so you can see what they are. And the faceplates are customizable and changeable. The have a second internal light that turns on when the switch is on.
I ended up sending these to Advanced Systems to use in my panel. They did a great job and helped me figure out a few things.
Major point of learning is: For the experimental I don't have a tail beacon to indicate HOT PROP. i thought I need some white tail light to do that function. But Advanced System told me, do it with the strobes. So the final switches are like this.
1. Battery- Can't turn on Alternator unless the battery is first turned on. 2. Alternator - 3. Aux Fuel pump 4. Avionics master 5. Strobes 6. Landing Lights 7. Wig wag switch 8. Navigation or Position lights (Red, Green, White) 9. Heated Pito 10. Flaps
