Brief Description:  Wire Run in Aft Fuselage 1

I have been pondering how to hold down the wires that go all the way aft in the fuselage. I've decoded to try the glued down tie mounts. I like these cause they are light weight, easy to install with minimal damage to structure, accept any size bundle of wire, and cheap. I don't want to bend them up and run along the longerons. The holes in the bulk heads are on the bottom. And I want to keep wires away from the control rod.

I decided the pitot and AOA tubes will go aft on the port (pilot) side of the fuselage and wires will go aft on the co-pilot side. I will have only 5 wires going to the electric trim and 2 wires going to the tail light. Not much. Also if these come off someday it is easy to reglue them.

I looked at lots of glues and decided to just use the epoxy glue I've been using for other things. It is easy. Gets really hard. Seems to stick to anything and has a reputation of lasting for 100 years. That should be long enough.

I did remove the pimer although I plan to re-prime after the epoxy dries.

Photo 3 is the 5-wire bundle and 2 light wires going aft.
Is this how wiring is suppose to be? Time to call an inspector.

I think I'm ready to rivet on the aft top skins.
