I've done two interations of painting on epoxy resin and sanding it off. I can see the pits are filling in and the edge along the tape is getting more evenly defined. But there are still spots that are wavy. The black color is because I added black dye.
I think I'll ask my neighbor how to finish this smooth. He works on Corvettes and is very good with fiberglass finishing and painting.
