Brief Description: Teflon Tape on the Door Latch Handle
I looked at the possibility of riveting on the door latch, but that would interfer with riveting the canopy decks so I'll rivet it after the canopy decks are riveted on.
I did mount the teflon tape to the mating surfaces and refit the latch. I sanded smooth the notch edges and made sure it is ready to rivet on. The teflon tape is a spacer and helps the latch move in and out.
