The BIG cut went the same as the little cuts. I made a couple of passes to create the groove. Then I cut thru on a few spots and added duct tape to hold the pieces in position, and then I just cut the rest.
I sanded and smoothed both edges.
I maybe should have done this on the floor, but I like the position on the table saw.
