Brief Description: Fitting the Canopy Frame to the Fuselage 9a
An Update: After riveting the side rails to the frame I've discovered that my side rails really do not fit the contour of the side. I thought they did, but when I adjusted the frame this made the side rails move.
The side rails need a bit more curve in them, just like the plan says. So I bent them over the bench, and squeezed the flange with the fluter. Now they fit. But now they have bends on the flange.
I'm contemplating borrowing or buying a shrinker for the top skin, and I could use it here. We'll see.
