Brief Description:  Fitting the Canopy Frame to the Fuselage 2

I removed the canopy frame and measured the 3/8 hole around the outside of the 1/4 inch hole. I determined I could move each hole slightly and then later when I drill the 3/8 the canopy will be better positioned.

So I filled the pilot side hole slightly aft allowing the frame to move forward. And I filed the co-pilot hole forward allowing the frame to move aft slightly. I now have gap that is the same the whole length. I added one more shim.

The gap is consistant. It is about 0.045". And it opens without the skins hitting. This is a good fit for the canopy frame to continue building the canopy.
