I looked at the holes to drill and realized the pins and latch need to be removed. So I took the forward skin off and removed the latch and put the whole thing back together again. I'm glad I have not riveted the forward structure and skin.
I marked the hole locations just to see where they were. They look fairly centered.
Since this airplane is designed in 3D on a CAD system I would expect the holes to be near center and for the plane to look a lot like the drawings.
