I clampled the hinge brackets to the frame forward rib just so they would be in their approximate position while I drilled the skin. And I clamped the aft piece and did not drill holes that did not also appear on the under lying frame.
I discovered the big gap between the outboard part of the skin and the frame. I'm reading about it in other people's logs. I still don't know what I'm going to do about it. It is about a 1/2 inch gap at max.
