Brief Description:  Attach HS to Fuselage 8: Quality check on holes

I've been looking at these holes and wondering if they are penetrating the longerons in an okay position. Seems like they may be a little close to the edge of the longerons.

I'll post what Van's says. Okay, here is what Van's says.

"If the edge distance is bad the only practical way to reinforce the longeron is
to use a triangular plate .125 thick that spans about 3 rivets down the
longeron on either side of the bolt hole. A couple of rivets inboard can rivet it
to the rear deck also . This takes the place of the 1.25 spacer under the HS-
714, so the apex of the triangle is a little inboard of the inboard bolt on the
HS-714. Hard to see exactly what the edge distance here is, but it's
obviously less than desirable, so adding the plate is probably a good idea.

Vans"

So I gotta add plate. (next entry).
