I'm about ready to mount the wings to the fuselage, but I don't have anyone available today to help take them off the cradle and onto the saw horses.
I'm looking at the 5/8 holes I enlarged on the wing ribs for pitot tubing. No way it will go thru the wing. It hits the spar. I'll have to redo the last few wing ribs with a 5/8 hole under the big hole so it aligns with the one in the fuselage.
I see I'll also have to drill a hole in the fuselage for wiring coming out of the flexible tubing hole. I think I'll have to figure out some way to do a connector here.
Plans say I have to mark the locations of the holes in the wing for interface to the mid-fuselage bottom skin. So the put a line thru the holes center which I'll be able to extend onto the bottom skin. And I marked on each line 3 inches back from the center of the hole (not the edge).
So in theory if I extend these lines on the bottom skin and measure over 3 inches from the line I should hit the existing hole's center. We will see if it works.
