Brief Description: Flap Mechanism 2 Cut and Drill Bearing Block
The center bearing block needs to be prepared by cutting it down to size and drilling the holes. The block comes oversized and needs some to be cut off before drilling. And then after drilling the holes you cut the block in half. And then there is also a little notch to cut off to clear the edge of the forward seat floor.
I accidentally made my holes slightly (1/16) closer than drawings and I think this turned out to be an advantage with regard to the forward hole edge margins with the rib and floors.
I use angle to hold the block perpendicular on the drill press table. Seems to work okay. I wish I had a mill machine, but I don't want to spend $500 bucks on one.
