Now all the seat parts are made, drilled and deburred. So it is time to think about priming and riveting. I decided that I'm going to paint this hole seat back. So I'll rivet it together before priming and then I'll clean, sand and prime the whole thing as a unit. This will allow me to sand the rivet heads to help ensure primer and paint sticks.
I don't think priming in between parts is so important since I'm going to encapsulate the whole assembly in primer and paint. I did sand all the parts individually and cleaned them before riveting and I'll have to repeat this after riveting.
So first I clecoed the whole seat back together and placed in in the fuselage just to make sure everything looks right and there are no surprises.
