Brief Description: Cargo Bulkhead 1: Trim Corners, Drill Holes
I made the cargo bulkhead this week. I found the parts and then studied the plans. There is a little bend on one edge of the top bulkhead. This goes on the BOTTOM. It took me a long time to figure that out.
I used a compass to scribe the 8.5 in radius for the corners. Then cut and sanded smooth. I measured for all the holes, marked them and drilled them on the bench.
I attached the top and bottom on the bench, not on the plane. Then I put the two part assembly in the plane and drilled the holes for the platenuts.
Then I removed the bulkheads and made the cable pass thru fittings.
