Brief Description: F-787 Stiffener Drill two holes in angle
The F-787 stiffener has a little angle at the aft end that attaches to the 707 bulkhead. Before you remove the skins you can fold up the left side and match drill these two holes to locate the stiffener on the angle.
I went ahead and deburred, dimpled, cleaned and primed the rib. Then I riveted the angle onto the stiffenerI also sanded a little space on the angle to make room for a skin rivet that hits it. The plans are clear not to rivet this stiffener until after the skin is rivet because of the one or two rivets that would be blocked.
