I had to cut a couple inches off both sticks in order for the grips and buttons to clear the panel. I do see that with the sticks fully forward the springs in the trim bind with the ribs a little, so I doubt the sticks ever will go full forward.

Even without grip it hits

Measured and cut off

Now they both clear
