Brief Description:  Fuselage Final Items: Paint Interior 1

Another thing to do is paint the interior while all the 'stuff' is out of it. I've been painting all the panels, and seats and etc, as I go, so there really isn't too much left to paint. So I taped off the parts to paint which include the cargo bulkhead, the cargo side walls, the passenger side walls and a little bit of the sides where your feet go.

I plan to do an interior, because I have a wife, and so lots of this won't show with the interior in. I did not paint below the floors, nor the firewall, nor the powder coated parts.

I'm using the Rustoleum Hammered look, light grey or silver. It is rattle can paint, but dries really hard and seems to stick well on anything.

My prep included light scotch brighting, and a rub down with alcohol to remove any oils. The alcohol removed a slight layer of primer so I'm confident I'm putting paint on a 'new' surface of primer. I debated about washing it all with soap and water, but what a mess that would be.
